SAM was the company that made the first individual player bobbing heads in the 1990s and ushered in the modern era of bobblehead collecting. Before them, there were only team bobbleheads produced with the exception of the 1962 Clemente, Mays, Maris and Mantle bobbleheads. SAM produced bobbleheads from 1992 until 2000. Their production runs ran anywhere from 500 to 10,000. The typical production run was 3,000. This Lady Di was limited and numbered to 1,000. It was produced in 1996. SAM Bobbleheads originally retailed anywhere from $49.95 to $99.95.
